The Probability Generator module is designed to generate random events on a gated input. Specifically, it will take a gate input, and on each gate in (used as a trigger) will generate a random number.
The random number is then used to first determine by the probability know (0-100%) whether or not the gate will be passed through and, second, determine the control voltage to be output in a Sample and Hold style of operation. This can be used to generate random “sequences” by passing the CV through the standard Quantizer.
